On a recent warm June Saturday, families and friends in Southern Village, Chapel Hill, NC, were part of a special balloon launch. Thankful comments were made by Cooper's parents in gratitude of the support they receive and how the donations made will benefit others in need. Over $1000 was raised!
Balloons were available (they were bio-degradable ones too!) and special notes of encouragement could be handwritten on a tag and attached to the string. On the count of 5-4-3-2-1 all 150 balloons were released into the Carolina blue sky.

It truly was a sight to see for both young and old as the balloons soared into the sky.
